Music: Calvin Harris ft. Pharrell, Katy Perry, & Big Sean – “Feels”

More new music!  Living.

As promised earlier this week, Calvin Harris posted to his social media channels that he’d be releasing another track from his upcoming album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.  PS – I’m really hoping for a Vol. 2, and Vol. 1 hasn’t even dropped yet.  Moving on.

This song is complete summer island vibes.  TBH, each song Calvin Harris has given us from this upcoming album has had summer vibes.  Low-key I’m more excited for this project than DJ Khaled’s which has E V E R Y one on it.

Back to “Feels.”  Let me keep this short and sweet.

Pharrell starting this song… amazing!  Definitely the right choice.  Then we move on to Katy Perry’s vocals.  She keeps the energy going with her spunk.  But moving on to my favorite verse of the song… Big Sean’s.

MUSIC: Calvin Harris ft. Future & Khalid – “Rollin”

Calvin Harris is living his best life right now.  Last night he gave us another track off of his upcoming album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.  

Titled “Rollin,” it features two of my favorites – Khalid and Future.  I never thought I wanted a song with Khalid and Future, but after hearing this…. YASSS.

When that electronic beat came in around 22 seconds, I knew this song was going to be complete summer vibes.

Also important to note that Khalid is on the come-up, and for those who disagree, shame on you.  He’s young and about to be thriving.  He’s already on a song with Calvin Harris and Future.  COME ON, BRO.

But yeah, listen to the song here, and keep living your best life.

Say whaaaat.  The actual track hasn’t dropped yet, but Calvin Harris just posted the artwork for the single on his Instagram.

I’m not sure what this is going to sound like, but if it’s anything like the vibes we got from Calvin and Frank…

I’m #HearForThis.

The track titled “Heatstroke” is sure to be another summertime banger.  Maybe I missed this, but are we expecting a new album from Calvin?  It makes sense with these singles he’s been dropping.  A summertime playlist?!  All about that.

Definitely check back for when the track officially drops!

Okay, can we just get the song already?  Calvin Harris initially teased the track, officially called “Slide,” featuring Frank Ocean a few weeks ago, and now we can confirm FO is on it as well as Migos.  I am here for this.

VIDEO: Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna – ‘This Is What You Came For’

Okay, I need to get way better about posting music videos on this thang.  Well, and better about posting in general.  Any ways.

I just world premiered this music video from my bed, and I love it.  It’s nothing too complex – but just so cool.  And if you check out my Snapchat (ergense), you will hear what I think of this video. Again, it all goes back to being cool and to me Rihanna is the Queen of Cool, 100%.

So watch the video below, and let me know what you think!  Oh, and pay attention to the cube RiRi is dancing in.  Let’s just say it looks a lot like that ‘Hotline Bling’ box Drake was busting a move in.  Hmmm…

Oh, and HOW COULD I FORGET.  It’s still June 16 on the West Coast, so since that’s the case I’d like to wish a happy birthday to the late Tupac.  How can you resist such a face?
