I’m back, and I’m better.  That’s just a song lyric, yinz, so don’t worry.  But really, I’m back.  Sort of.  I haven’t posted in EONS, and I want to recap a bunch of things I’ve done over the last month or two but come on… how can I not post about a new and surprise mixtape from Chance and Jeremih?  What a great combo!

I’m about to listen for the first time so you should too.  My thoughts to follow post-listen!

QUICK REVIEW

I really enjoyed this project!  It was short, simple, and perfect to kick off the holidays.  Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if I find myself listening to this throughout the year.  Great job done by Chance and Jeremih.  What are your favorite tracks?

While this playlist only has 10 songs (it will grow), they are 100% the tracks I’ve been listening to on repeat, and I suggest you do the same.  From new Kanye to DJ Mustard and The Weeknd and more, I guarantee you’ll be vibing out to these songs just like me.

Yesterday, I also attended a networking event for millennial women and the lovely Karen Civil was the keynote speaker.  Can’t wait to share info about that with you and why you should definitely be following KC on all social media, as well as why you need to buy her book!

Serge’s Selections: 2015 Edition Part Deux

In today’s favorites, you can simply listen to the playlist below!  While I probably didn’t capture all of my favorite songs, these are the majority of them.  You’ll see lots of Drake (obviously), Future, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, and The Weeknd to name a few.

Happy listening – especially if you’re at work and need something to get lit to while mentally preparing yourself for your New Year’s celebrations.  And while I normally give yinz a playlist curated on Soundcloud, that streaming service doesn’t always have the originals of songs.  So this time, you’ll have to listen via my YouTube channel. 🙂  Perk:  Some tracks include the music video.  I’ll be adding throughout the day should I think of any other bangers that dropped this year.  Enjoy!

“Like the mixtape days…”

Those were my favorite days of The Weeknd.  He is on fire right now!  While I really should be going to bed, I have to get this remix to yinz first.  Lit.  I already liked the original by Jeremih, but The Weeknd has like the magical touch (or voice) that gives so many songs such life!
